Mindfulness Mondays: Mind Wandering

Would it surprise you to know we have between 25 to 125 thoughts per SECOND? By sunset we average 70,000 thoughts per day.  That is a LOT of THOUGHTS!

How many of these thoughts are habitual?  How many are even accurate? Yet this stream of internal chatter continues throughout the day. 

Labeling disruptive thought as "mind wandering"allows us to redirect our thoughts to the present moment.  This helps us to focus better at work, in relationships. 

This week I will label my "mind wandering" and return my focus to the present moment.
