Mindfulness Mondays: Reaching out with Joy

h/t Hot Dogs for the Homeless
"We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy." Joseph Campbell

Mindfulness involves being present in the moment, even if that moment is uncomfortable. This week allow yourself to notice those who are hurting and find one small way to bring joy.

Kindness counts.

This week I will bring joy to the sorrowful.

Mindfulness Monday: Be Kind

Confluence Conference Snacks 2014
Kindness requires mindfulness.

It is not a gimmick or a quick fix.  This week set your intention to let go of hurtful thoughts (about yourself and others) and replace the negativity with acceptance and good will.

The practice of being kind will bring you happiness.

I CAN PRACTICE KINDNESS.
