Mindfulness Monday: Peace begins with me

Mindfulness: Being mindful is the active practice of paying attention to the present moment.  It is a meditative approach to quiet the mind and still the body.

Take a moment today to focus inward.  Notice your breathing.  Acknowledge your thoughts without judgement- let them pass through your mind.  Attend to the present moment only.

Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with you.
Set your intentions for a peaceful week.

  1. I've often had to stop and give myself a pep talk because I'm rushing around and forgetting to enjoy what I'm doing because I'm worried about what comes next. "Taking time to stop and smell the roses" might be cliche, but it's oh so true.

    1. There is a lot of "hurry up" in the holiday preparations, so glad you stopped by the blog and are giving yourself permission to be mindful :)
